December Board Minutes & Highlights

Main topic for the December meeting was preparing for player registration: Soccer nets at the Livingston School will be taken down and stored for the winter to prevent damage. Scheduling of coaches' E-Clinic may be difficult in the spring due to indoor basketball league - Terry Call will take care of scheduling. Coaches and a Coaches' coordinator have been hired for the U-12 and older teams and coaches will begin meeting in December. Yellowstone Fire will have players past and present sign an old jersey that will be presented to Ted Blair for his past and continued support of the Yellowstone Fire Program. Jersey will be circulated at the local schools and taken to registration. State guidelines for tournament tie-breakers will be adopted and used for the May Day tournament. Yellowstone Fire will not enter any teams in the Gold Division at State Cup due to logistics of sending teams to Hawaii. This information will be presented at registration and parents allowed until Jan 25 to let the board know if there is a Cody team that might be still interested in going to Hawaii. Leftover May Day blankets, hats, and sweatshirts will be offered for sale at registration. Jennifer Schumann is gathering all the necessary paperwork for registration. The Parent/Player Conduct Form was reviewed, discussed, and revised in preparation for registration. 2007-08 players' fees were discussed and set based on historical base expenses. A tentative date was set for the Pizza Kick-Off party - Lee Ann Reiter will check on facility availability. Nancy Winkler will forward registration information to the elementary schools and the middle school for the school announcements. GO FIRE!!!
